AVAILABLE Pre-pay Plan We offer the opportunity to purchase oil at a fixed or capped price each summer. You may purchase as much oil as you want for the heating season and will not pay over the purchase price. Fixed Pre-pay We require that you pay for the oil, in full, prior to the heating season. The credit is then put on your account and until the credit, gallons bought or contract expires, whichever comes first, you are guaranteed to pay no more than the fixed price. A fixed price stays the same for the term of the contract regardless of market changes. Capped Pre-pay Plan There is a fee for the capped plan, which varies from year to year but if the price should go down in the winter, capped customers always get the lower price. We require that you pay for the oil, in full prior to the heating season. The credit is then put on your account and until the credit, gallons bought or contract expires, whichever comes first, you are guaranteed to pay no more than the capped price. 10-Month Budget Plan We take the approximate number of gallons used the previous year and multiply this by the price plan available at that time. We then take the total price and divide it by 10 to arrive at the monthly payment. The 10-Month Budget Plan begins in July, and monthly payments are due by the 15th of each month thereafter. If a payment is received late, the contract may become null and void. The budget plan also offers two contracts, a fixed price which doesn't change regardless of market changes or a capped price, which is available at an additional fee. A capped price means if the price should go down in the winter, capped customers always get the lower price. We accept fuel assistance customers and have worked closely with the Worcester Community Action Council Inc., for many years. |
